The CCA is as simple as it gets when adding a 4-6-8 tacho to a COP or DIS ignition system. COP and DIS systems all have one thing in common – all COP's act like a 1-cylinder engine, and all 2-coil DIS packs act like a 2-cylinder. The CCA takes advantage of that by simply multiplying the signal, accelerating the COP signal into a 4-cylinder pulse train and the DIS into an 8-cylinder.
