I have a V-twin motor in a golfcart and I wanted a tach that was analog with the arm sweep not the conductive digital ones you wrap around the sparkplug wire. I used a negative pickup on one of the coils. Nobody could get this to work until I found this device. Very happy with it fairly easy to install and very fast ship. just 4 wires and play with the tach settings for a bit and it works perfectly. - Michael B
