LED's are great, but they have a problem when it comes to dimming. They simply don't dim like a regular bulb, staying bright for three quarters of the dimmer travel and then remaining lit dimly after the incandescent bulbs have gone out. Engineers call it “non-linear” behavior, and the LDD2 is the answer. With three simple button-pushes and two pot adjustments, the LDD2 lets you “teach” it the voltages of your existing dimmer and how bright the lights you're adding on should be in response. This makes it ideal for keeping the original dimmer on antique rides being refitted with modern lighting, or adding aftermarket gauges with peanut-bulb backlighting to modern rides with PWM lighting. The LDD2 can match the dimming characteristics of just about any dimmer to just about any backlight!
