We know that matching gauges and ECU's in an engine or cluster swap can be the bane of existence for even a talented auto electrician.  The UVM comes equipped to end that headache, able to match ANY kind of analog gauge or ECU input to ANY kind of analog sensor.   We do mean ANY.  You "teach" the UVM the top and bottom of the input signal you're using, then "teach" it what output equates to that input.  Because it learns what you want, it can literally convert almost anything to anything, positive or negative.  The UVM does the rest, seamlessly changing the input voltage slope into any other voltage slope.  The input and output can be separately configured for 5V or 12V operation, and it has built-in pullup resistors and a 5V Reference output for driving fuel senders or any other resistive sensor.  The outputs are strong enough to drive even antique bi-metal gauges, but precise enough to satisfy even the fussiest ECU.  For gauge applications it can interpolate signals above or below the setpoints you teach it, but for TPS/APS applications it can be configured with a "hard floor and ceiling" to prevent codes.  One easy button and one adjustment pot teach the UVM whatever you want it to know, and the data is stored in EEPROM that lasts 40 years unless you want to change it.  It even has a warning lamp driver that you can set for any point on your gauge to activate a lamp or relay on a low or high input.   There's virtually no analog voltage task on an automobile that the UVM can't do!
