We don't think you'll ever want your fuel gauge to read exhaust temperature or your oil pressure gauge to read mass airflow, but if that's your wish, the GTM can do it!  The GTM comes preset for driving “balance coil” fuel gauges using any float sensor, and for most fuel tank applications it's plug-and-program. But configurable onboard pullup resistors and selectable input/output voltage levels mean it can drive almost any gauge using any sensor you please. It has a super-accurate op-amp output to drive modern gauges with rail resistances above 130 ohms, plus an open-collector output to drive up to 1A loads for “heated element” and lower-resistance gauges. Three easy buttons “teach” the GTM the input and output voltages of whatever gauge and sensor combination you use, then the GTM does the rest. Simply set your sensor to the bottom and use the Up/Down buttons to make your gauge read bottom, hit Save and repeat the process at the top. Couldn't be simpler, and two intermediate setpoints assure accurate readings for cylindrical and asymmetric fuel tanks or non-linear sensors. The most versatile gauge matcher/corrector ever built!
